Daylights provides a comprehensive calendar displaying daylight and nighttime hours globally throughout the year.
It offers three distinct daylight visualization options, allowing users to select the most suitable style:
- The Classic: this format presents a 12-hour clock displaying either daylight or nighttime, depending on which is shorter.
- The Light: with this setting, the 12-hour clock consistently displays daylight, overlapping when necessary.
- The Magic: utilizing a 24-hour clock, this mode showcases the entire day and highlights the enchanting "magic hours" surrounding sunrise and sunset.
Users have the flexibility to choose any location worldwide to observe the interaction between polar night and midnight sun in regions with extreme latitudes.
Additionally, users can visualize how daylight and nighttime hours would adjust in their local area if daylight saving time were made permanent, eliminated entirely, or if a decision was made to transition to the preceding or subsequent time zone.
